All right men, let’s hit the showers
Every Christmas Story ever told
Rampant Silliness has once again attacked the San Jose Stage Company. We are doing Every Christmas Story ever Told, a “fast-moving, irreverent comedy” that is just family friendly enough to allow for some pretty silly giggling from the audience. Rehearsal has been great, engorged with the joyous pranking that often accompanies comedies that are being rehearsed long after the crew has stopped finding the jokes funny. Audiences, however, have been very pleased.
We run from November 26th through December 18th, Wednesday through Saturday nights, and the highly sought-after Sunday Matinees. There are lots of great deals on the internet, or you buy your tickets here.
It is the triumphant return of Martin Rojas Dietrich to the stage after a long hiatus, and I have the pleasure of working with the amazing Kevin Blackton (ladies and gentlemen), who we figured out has some very similar ideas about how to throw a tennis ball in a rehearsal space. The three of us continue to plot a three man Les Mis for production next winter.
Hope to see you there, and enjoy some photos from opening night:
