Coronado is open, Last Call wins awards.

Now I know that it’s about the process...

Cheers, we have a wreath.  But you’re still going to try and fight the whole bar.

Last Call, an independent short that I was in recently screened at the International Digital Film and High Definition Festival in Hollywood.  In attendance were Rey Godoy and Luke Woodruff, amongst others.  And we won Best Dramatic Short!  Which is totally sweet, since Rey had been freaking out worrying that Last Call would never be accepted to a single film festival, and now he’s won one.

Congratulations, Rey.

And yes, it’s about the process, but acting is only acting if people see you do it.  Otherwise it’s insanity, cause you’re talking to yourself.

Coronado is also up and running, and as we begin our third week I am very excited to get into it again.  It’s great, since we have three days off, you can put it away and forget about it more than if it was a eight show week and six days.  That makes it all the more fun to get ready to work on Wednesdays.  The result has been very positive, and we’re enjoying the generous audiences that we’ve had so far.

I’ve also signed on to play Ernst in Cabaret for SF Playhouse this summer.  That will be totally fun.  I love playing baddies....
