what the heck am I wearing?

TheatreWorks and Larry Ellison

Rehearsals started Wednesday for Snow Falling on Cedars at TheatreWorks!  I am extremely excited, if you haven’t figured it out.  I am playing the Carl Heine Jr. track, which includes an FBI agent and a soldier.  There are 12 actors, most of whom are playing multiple parts.  Had a costume fitting last week.  Was at the gym today.  No correlation.  There may be some interesting physical work going on, if the rumor that I heard from the costume designer is right.  I don’t want to say yet since I might jinx it.  Will keep you posted.

*Update*  Our first invited dress is tonight, extremely excited, can’t wait to give it a go.  We rehearse in the afternoon, nipping and tucking and pulling it all together after 3 and half days of tech.  And a day off.  We’ll be ready to go.

Let me know if you’re financially strapped for this one.  There’s a code.  Email me if you want it!

And in the tradition of never posting just one thing, I have some videos of a set of online commercials that I did for a server/software company.  They lampoon Larry Ellison and some of his proclivities.  They have been on YouTube for a month or so now, but here they are for you now:

Oddly enough, I was running at Sawyer Camp trail about a week ago, and I got the serious stink eye from some dude.  I thought nothing of it when we passed each other, figured he was having a hard run.  But when I was stretching at the end of my run, dude was still doing it.  I went back to my car, he passed me, totally not checking me out, looking like he wanted to kill me.  He didn’t say anything, and I was really surprised.  It was a running trail at eight in the morning.  He got in his car and drove past me.  It was a maroon Maserati.  I was like “What?  No way”.  So I consulted Google, who said that Ellison owns a NSX and an Audi R8.  He could totally have been that guy, but maybe not.  We’ll never know, unless my website crashes.

Until Next Time.
