reasons to be pretty

Rehearsals have started for San Jose Stage Company’s production of reasons to be pretty by Neil Labute.  Previews start September 29th, and the show closes October 24th.

Not surprisingly, considering this is my website, I’m acting in it, playing the role of Kent.  Which I could not be happier about.  As you’ll see when you come to see it, I am getting to channel my inner misspent youth, which never really happened.  But Kent is really letting me indulge in some bad behavior. 

The director and cast are fantastic, and I am looking forward to the ‘nipples up’ photoshoot coming this Saturday.  Pushups ensue.  There is also a fairly extensive fight scene that is being choreographed this Saturday as well.  Pretty much the perfect day, right?

Anyhoo.  I would love to see you there, so buy your tickets immediately. 

Also, we are continuing to try to fund Blood Run Free, a feature film from Brett Sorem’s Nocturnal Features.  There would be a graphic here, but Brett won’t take a picture of a Glock, so all I can do is send you over to watch the trailer and featurette.  Seriously, if you have a lead on some financing, let them know.
