Once again I am lucky enough to be working for SF Playhouse in this summer’s production of Cabaret, the venerable often remounted musical of love and betrayal set in the seedy confines of a 1930’s nightclub in Berlin.  Believe it or not, we’re pulling it off on the tiny stage of SF Playhouse, with the furthest audience member about 20 feet from the stage.  Most productions have the first row about twenty feet away, so you know it’s going to be intimate…

So we were all off book by today for Dennis Lehane’s Coronado at SF Playhouse, and had the producer’s run this afternoon, a travesty for actors and an absolute necessity for designers, who don’t like our acting any better than we do at this stage of rehearsal.  It is however, an evil that cannot be avoided…

The Ad is basically an attempt by myself and a young lady to join the mile high club, which turns into an opportunity for the stewardess to tell us about safe sex and various other services available to folks at Planned Parenthood…

So the Discovery channel is now promoting a brand new and exciting series called "Ice Truckers". Apparently this occurs during the winter, and when it's very cold, hence the ice. It also occurs in a very remote part of the world, hence the truckers…

SO on the 18th of May I was up at Peacock Gap golfcourse in San Rafael shooting a commercial for Alameda county fair. It will be played at Giants home games on the 103' screen, and on random comcast and local advertising in the Bay Area. The fair is June 22 - July 8, and it's supposed to be a 13 week run, so I'm assuming that it will be coming out fairly soon.

The basic premise is that I am a golfer, that's right, a golfer, and that I am trying to golf while the mascots of the fair, a horse, pig and cow, all played by people in mascot suits, are trying to get me to come to the fair…
