Coronado is open, Last Call wins awards.

Last Call, an independent short that I was in recently screened at the International Digital Film and High Definition Festival in Hollywood.  In attendance were Rey Godoy and Luke Woodruff, amongst others.  And we won Best Dramatic Short!  Which is totally sweet, since Rey had been freaking out worrying that Last Call would never be accepted to a single film festival, and now he’s won one…

So, a cow, a pig, a horse, and a golfer walk into a bar. Not a joke!

SO on the 18th of May I was up at Peacock Gap golfcourse in San Rafael shooting a commercial for Alameda county fair. It will be played at Giants home games on the 103' screen, and on random comcast and local advertising in the Bay Area. The fair is June 22 - July 8, and it's supposed to be a 13 week run, so I'm assuming that it will be coming out fairly soon.

The basic premise is that I am a golfer, that's right, a golfer, and that I am trying to golf while the mascots of the fair, a horse, pig and cow, all played by people in mascot suits, are trying to get me to come to the fair…
